United States of America Vs Central Intelligence Agency

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Okay, I’ve got to be honest here, this is a fight that I’m almost happy to watch. The only twinge of sadness I feel about this mess is for the agents that are actually on the front lines and the guys that have to show the restraint from actually torturing some of these animal that, in my opinion… really need it. Those guys on the front line are putting their lives every day and I do appreciate those men for it.

Now, that said… The CIA as an organization needs to just go away. Do we really need the DNI, UNDI, the CIA, the NSA, the NRO, the NGA, DIA, IRN, FBI, DEA, ICE, DHS… and a couple dozen other ‘Intelligence Agencies’? If they were that damned “intelligent” we wouldn’t need a couple dozen of them.

So, as much as I’d love to just back and watch the snake fight with leviathan, I don’t know yet if this is just a diversionary tactic to draw attention from that other piece of crap, Healthcare reform; if it’s a ploy to shore up support from his radical base; or if these idiots really do want to undermine our intelligence community.

Now, option #1 is the easy one… that’s what they’ve been blathering about all day on talk radio. Yes, it may play a part, but I think that the distraction is just a nice added benefit.

Option #2, is probably a bigger part. Have you listened to the airamerica crowd? WOW… I thought they held vitriol like that back for President Bush. Acorn is PISSED. They want their healthcare, they want everyone else to pay for it… and they want it now. Now, I think at this point the hard core Obamanites know that the healthcare takeover is DOA right now… but not gone forever. Like Friday the 13th and Halloween… it just keeps coming back. So it is a way to stir the pot and keep the masses mad at Bush for a little while longer…

Option #3 on the other hand is the one that I’m leaning towards and it’s the most insidious. First of all, let me point you back to the little comment that Candidate Obama made about his ‘civilian national defense force’. Well, there isn’t a lot for that force to do if we don’t have something tragic happen in the near future. In order for that to happen, those men mentioned above putting their lives on the line need to be stopped.

Is it too much to believe that Obama’s ‘Civilian National Security Force’… aka ACORN… would be ready and willing to help keep the peace after something tragic happens… I mean, we all know all of those rabid right wingers and tea baggers need to be kept under control.

Say a Word Of Thanks To Our Children… or Good Bye to Cash4Clunkers.

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Thank you God… for the death of, no not Teddy Kennedy… but of Cash4Clunkers.

I know, I know… $4500 for your piece of crap car. It’s like free money from all of those Washington DC politicians. I know… it sounds like a great deal…

… if you’re a thief.

Ohhh… Did I just call all of you bums that took $4500 from the government for your piece of crap cars thieves???

Yes I did. Not only are you a thief, but you’re stealing from kids for the most part. It’s not like your stealing candy from the kids… you’re stealing $4500, and that’s before interest.

You see… you filthy stinking rotting thieves… those great government politicians that you think just gave you that $4500 didn’t earn that money, as a matter of fact that money hasn’t even been earned by anyone yet. We’re putting all of that cash on Uncle Sam’s credit card… aka China. Tax Cheat Timothy Geithner is selling United States Treasury Bonds… mainly to countries like China… and he’s selling billions of dollars worth at a time , and that’s where the money is coming from for that piece of crap hybrid you just bought.

Now, in 10-20-30 years when those bonds mature and China asks for the cash… you know who is going to have to pay for it??? Not you… not the thieves that drove off the lot all happy with their new hybrids… Our Children are going to have to pay for it.

Now, they didn’t get a vote. They don’t get a vote for Cah4Clunkers, Cap’n’Trade, National Healthcare, TARP, Bailouts Government Motors… or anything else that we’re charging up on the ol’ credit card that they’ll have to pay off.

Now… just as an amusing side note… the $4500 that you just took from our kids without their permission… well, that’s about how much that piece of crap hybrid depreciated as soon as you drove it off the lot.

And by the time our kids are driving… that piece of crap plastic car you just bought won’t be worth $4500. Technology will advance enough over the next few years to make that piece of crap you bought worthless by the time our kids earn enough to pay $4500 in taxes.

So… next time you’re walking down the street, and you pass a school or a play ground, the least you could do is go up to one of those kids that didn’t get a say in it and tell them thank you.

Just don’t try it with any of my kids, they’ll probably kick you in the nuts… you stinking thief.

What Does It Mean To Be Republican?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

I suppose I should state what my beliefs are, before I question anyone else…

What does ‘Republican’ mean?

In my view, a republican refers to someone who adheres to our Constitution and the ideals that our Constitution is wrapped in and directly opposed to the democrat, who follows the ideal of mob rule.

In short, a Republican’s ruler is the Constitution. We don’t elect rulers… we elect representatives. I haven’t heard ‘Republican’ candidate refer to what the Constitution empowers them to do since Reagan. We elect a President, who’s only job is to Preside over the government… he’s not our ruler. He is a subject to the same laws as anyone else.

Now, indeed… today’s Republican party has completely divorced itself from anything resembling republican principles. It is, in fact just another democratic party. It plays to the whim of the masses just as much as much as the democrats do. It plays to the cult of personality, classes and victimhood, just as the democrats do…

… but just as has been said, they’ve just got different classes and victim groups.

They’re not rooted in principle, they’ve sold their soul to the masses… and I’ll fully admit that for a long time, I was a part of the mass.

I say that, because conservatism does not equal republicanism. Saying conservatism equals republicanism is like saying sugar equals tea. Yes, I love sweet southern iced tea, but not everyone likes sweet tea… and regardless of how well they go together… one does not equal the other.

One of the great things about our federal republic is that each state can run their state pretty much as they see fit. Now, that’s not to say the rest of us can’t bitch and complain about how the unions are ruining Michigan, or the Chicago mob bosses (read Blago/Obama/Rezko) are ruining Illinois… or illegal aliens are ruining California, but being a federal republic, republicans should at least support their right to f’ up their own states.

That’s what our founding fathers faced. For better or worse, they designed a system that, in the matters of domestic policy, particularly slavery… they were for the most part powerless. They didn’t see themselves as the know all, be all, end all of everything in the United States. They didn’t see themselves as rulers who knew better for us. So we wound up with northern industrial states, southern agrarian states… some slave states, some anti-slavery states…

Now, I’ve defined conservatism by what it is not. So what is it?? To me, at least, it’s the way I want my government to operate… literally. Read – in small amounts. I like a liberal amount of sugar in my tea… I like a conservative amount of salt and pepper in my food…

… I like a conservative amount of government in my life.

I don’t want to see a ‘free’, liberal government. I believe that the freedom of the state and the freedom of the people are inversely proportional. The freer the government, then the less free the people. Today, our federal government is free to write checks for whatever they want… and spend our children’s children money as THEY see fit.

I don’t want a government free enough to create a national health care system. I don’t want a government free enough to school lunch program. I don’t want a government free to manipulate the economy… or ‘save’ the economy. I do want an impotent government… as far as domestic affairs. As horrible as it might be, if a bunch of poor starving kids petitions the federal government for ‘help’… my hope would be that my politician would have the balls, and principles, to say, “As a congressman, there is nothing I can do, BUT… as a man… here’s what I can do.”

Leave the saving of poor, destitute children… and of AIG, and Chevy… to individuals.

I don’t want a government free enough to write one billion dollar check to Wall Street or a billion one dollar checks to welfare recipients. I don’t want a government free enough to spend my money on car companies, or my grandchildren’s money on me or anyone else’s “social security”.

Now, as I said, as a conservative, I want a small government, an impotent government… but as a republican, if Barack Obama came out tomorrow and said, “I’ll leave the rest of the country alone, I just want to turn Illinois into a communist haven.” I’d actually be willing to stand by his side and support him. With the emphasis on ‘leave the rest of the country alone’…

… and if his ideas and way of life is so great, then everyone in the country would flock to Illinois. If they’re wrong… they’ll run away.

I know, that’s not the way a liberal’s mind works… they want to impose their ideals on everyone else… to hell with what people want for themselves.

The problem is that for most so called ‘conservatives’ now days… that’s how their minds work as well. It’s not about the struggle between the rule of law and the power of the masses, it’s just about a bunch of people who want their side to win. It’s about people who that think their ideas as so much better… to hell with the rule of law… to hell with principle…

The dichotomy the ‘left’ and ‘right’, ‘liberal’ and ‘conservative’, ‘Democrat’ and ‘Republican’… is fiction. Those ‘struggles’ are no more real than the ‘struggle’ between men and women, blacks and whites, gays and straights. It is all a bunch of BS. It’s all a game played to inspire fear and passion amongst the masses… doesn’t matter much at all which side of their fence you come down on.

Now, personally, I refuse to play their game. I know… it tends to piss people off who want to play their game. I don’t care. I don’t care if I hurt people’s feelings.

If you believe that the federal government should have the right to spend your grandchildren’s wealth before they have a chance to earn it… you’re neither a conservative nor republican. If you believe the government is free to choose which multi-trillion dollar companies win and which ones lose… you’re neither a conservative nor a republican. If you believe that all of those poor plebes out there in the country just don’t understand how much they need the federal government to save them… you’re neither a conservative nor a republican.

Now, that in and of itself isn’t necessarily a horrible thing… so long as your intellectually honest enough to admit that you’re a liberal (think that the government is free to do whatever they want) and a democrat (play to the masses instead of the rule of law).

Don’t feel bad about being what you are… that goes to people like John McCain, George Bush… I & II… Arlen Specter… and pretty much the entirety of both the Democrat and Republican parties.

Neither of the parties are ‘more republican’ than the other… neither are big government or small government… just different big government.

Another Dead Kennedy…

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Yes, we are all now well aware that Edward Moore “Teddy” Kennedy is dead.

Now, I cannot say that I knew the man as an individual so I can’t say anything about the man personally… but I can about the man as a senator.

First off all… I think the Kennedy clan as a whole represents one of the two worst extremes in this country… and neither of the two extremes know what a days work is worth. The first is the poor slugs that sit on their ass sucking off the tit of the hard working people in this country… and the other is the rich slugs that sit on their ass sucking off the tit of the hard working people in this country.

Kennedy is just in the later group. As it happens, Kennedy spent his life as a member of the later group sitting in Washington DC, taking money from hard working Americans and giving that money to other members of his group… in the name of being compassionate to the former group.

Now, please do not misunderstand me, my gripe isn’t with “rich” people. I’d love to be rich people. My gripe is with the “rich” people, who believe that because their Daddy left them money, that they have the right to dictate to the rest of us.

Edward Kennedy’s only qualification for Senate was that his daddy was rich… the only thing that disqualified him for the presidency was that he was a drunk SOB who killed a young lady… but not enough for the liberal New England voters to disqualify him from the senate. Of course, any of the rest of us would be in prison for the last 40 years… Kennedy was sent to the senate.

One of the things I will remember about ‘Teddy’ Kennedy is his work for “healthcare” reform. It’s just like anything else in the Kennedy world… he fought to impose his ideal of “healthcare” on all of us… a system that would have seen him dead long ago… but what’s good for the rest of us isn’t good enough for him, because he spend his last days in the most expensive elite medical institutions in the world.

Again, daddy’s money gave him the right to dictate to us small people, while he lived above us all.

I for one… am not sorry to see him gone. One less person on our ass.

Get Off Our Ass

Monday, August 24th, 2009

I know… it’s not not a very eloquent way to phrase my request, but there are times when getting to the point is more important than eloquence, and this is one of those times. So for the sake of brevity, my most humble request from our benevolent rulers is to simple, GET OFF OUR ASS.

I don’t need a car, or car company. I don’t need health care, I don’t need you to dictate what kind of energy I use or how much I use… I don’t need TARP, or $13 a week… I need for our politicians to, GET OFF OUR ASS.

I understand the desire to help those who need help, and I applaud that desire, and if you desire that, if that is a burning desire to help other people, then pull your own checkbook out and GET OFF OUR ASS.

Thanks…

Brad
